ββΛπ©πΌΛ³βΈ» πππππππππππββββββββAloof and pragmatic, Diluc's absence amongst his peerage can be blamed by whatever left exists of his work-life balance. He's an overachiever with a fastidious need to do right by all, whether it is tending Angel's share, managing Dawn Winery, or overseeing his work of the underground. It isn't a matter of perfection β such ideals were never a concern. Perfection isn't possible, but precision and care gives him control.
Due to the peculiarities towards his work and admittedly his introverted behaviors, creative misgivings about Diluc have been rumored and spread about him. The people Diluc considers close and dear to his heart could perhaps be counted on a single hand, as he's not forthright with new people. It's not that he's averse to people, however he finds it easier to remain at a cordial distance. Sometimes it's out of suspension, other times, just a bit overwhelming. He understands the weight of the Ragnvindr name, yet somehow people believe him to be things he simply isn't.
The busybody life of a socialite isn't for him, no matter how many nobles try to get him on their good side. Reserved, Diluc doesn't stray from his beliefs, however he does acknowledge his own shortcomings stirred from his stubborness. Passionate, Diluc is intuned to enact justice where law fails, a grievance he knows all too well. But he isn't all serious. In his spare time, he likes to collect new and odd herbs, spices, and extracts to experiment for new beverages. And then most discreetly, he dabbles a little in Genius Invokation TCG where he is admittedly clumsy with the rules. In his defense, he's never played any sort of "trading card game". Truly his game resides in the mastery of chess.

π±πππππ πΌππππππππ πΉππππππ π°ππNonamorus β When it comes to romance, Diluc isn't oblivious to it, but he doesn't cater much to it unless it's for a special at Angel's Share. It's not that he hates romance nor intimacy, but Diluc can best be described as a self-saboteur. If there's ever a kindling of interest, he's likelier to brush it off than to approach it. If some people can be described as hopeless romantics, Diluc is a hopeless nonromantic, or a rationalist. Really he doesn't understand the sensationalism in intimate pursuits other than it brings in decent sales during festivities. Still, he is a man and when he finds himself interested in a person, beyond that of a suspect or client, Diluc teeters between clumsy flirts and bouts of jealousy over his foolish emotional constipation. I have also realized that yes, I play him on the demiromantic and demisexual side of the bi-asexual spectrum.
Blunt β He doesn't mince words. Sometimes he might humor in waxing poetry, but when it comes down to it, he's abrasive if not accusative or skeptical. Of course, he's not in favour of making scenes. His introversion doesn't negate his ability to read the room, rather it makes him astute to the atmosphere, but Diluc is curt when his patience is worn. He's not found of putting on an act, he has the courtesy to chose a time and place to air his grievances, but he doesn't bother sugarcoating his thoughts. That isn't to say he's crass, but he prefers to be straightforward since he himself doesn't like when people play with their words or skirt around issues by avoiding the topic with circle talk and white noise.
Contempt β He's a begrudging man even if at times he's forgiving. To those endeared to him in some fashion, he can blink at a minor infraction or look away from a slight... But to those that have crossed the threshold of his distain, he's unbridled, fast-tempered, and ready with his sword. He has little patience to people that have earned his scorn and he's strongly reluctant to overlook such feelings.
